Many versions of this card exist due to the Marlboro cigarette ad on a billboard next to Johnson’s head. This is one of the rarer versions referred to among collectors as “green blob on billboard”.
Fleer caught the ad late and did everything they could to cover it up.
Honestly surprised they cared about marketing cigarettes to kids in 1989.
